was launched in 2004 as the result of the merger
of three established, well-known companies that
offered different but compatible financial services:
Primary Superannuation Services, Salary Packaging
Services, and Gateway Salary Packaging. Each company
brought with it considerable strengths and attributes:
Primary
was a successful financial services company that
provided outsourced superannuation administration
and related services to a select group of large,
mostly industry-specific superannuation funds.
Salary
Packaging Services was a national salary packaging
company with a solid, blue-chip client base, a
strong marketing team, an experienced pool of
nationwide Remuneration Consultants and a wide
network of independent Financial Advisors as well
as a dedicated and highly-trained national Customer
Service Call Centre.
Gateway
Salary Packaging was a national salary packaging
company with a strong accounting focus and specialised
experience and expertise in products and services
for employees of Exempt Institutions.
Combined,
these companies create Selectus: a strong, agile
and comprehensively resourced company with a depth
of financial expertise, technical and management
skills that enables us to offer a versatile service
that can quickly and pro-actively respond to new
technology, complex service delivery environments
and legislative changes.
Selectus
business operations have a network of offices
in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Perth
and Hobart, and currently employs over 200 staff.
