You can salary package your restaurant meals, including drinks, as well as taxis to and from the restaurant and receive a taxation benefit.

Salary package the following items and only pay tax on 50% of the expense. If you eat out a lot, you could save thousands!

  • The cost of your personal restaurant meals (including drinks)
  • Taxis to and from the restaurant
  • Food and drink at a wedding reception or party
  • Accommodation to facilitate entertainment. Example; staying overnight in a hotel after a meal on a night out
